Our take

Avinguda de Gaudí carries a steady river of tired, hungry tourists, and this terrace two blocks from the Sagrada Família is positioned to skim it. Start with the drinks, since the house certainly will: an expensive beer nobody requested appeared on our bill, and when we flagged it, staff flatly refused to acknowledge the error. Buying a drink isn't optional here anyway, and supplements surface at checkout that are printed nowhere. The food doesn't rescue any of this. Diners report freezer-to-fryer everything and a bolognese straight from the can, and one table that complained says the chef swore at them for their trouble. I kept my receipt like evidence. Walk two blocks in any direction and this city will feed you better for less. I won't be returning, and the math agrees with me.

Fair warning: we paid, we ate, and we're telling you so you don't have to.

Outside, the pavement is a river of visitors marching to the basilica, and the terrace scoops them up at lunch and again at dinner with the same result. I tried the earlier sitting, hoping daylight might help. It did not. The bolognese tasted of the tin, the freezer's hand was everywhere, and a beer nobody ordered appeared on the bill and stayed there despite polite objection. Supplements surfaced too, listed nowhere. I shan't be checking dinner.
