Hermòs

Real talk: this might be the sanest bill I've paid in Gràcia all year. Hermós is a little fish bar tucked inside a market, and nobody outside the neighborhood seems to have noticed, which suits it fine. No line, no set dressing, no one hovering to see whether you photographed your plate. The room feels lived-in, worn smooth by regulars instead of a designer. And the cooking runs a solid step above what the low profile suggests, seafood handled with care and priced like the kitchen never got the memo about inflation. It isn't chasing greatness and doesn't need to. What you get is a good lunch that costs what a good lunch should, which in this city is quietly becoming rare. Once a year at minimum, more whenever I'm already in Gràcia and hungry.
