Our take

A hand-written label, slightly crooked on its bottle, caught my eye at the door before anyone said hello, and it set the tone honestly. The human welcome, when it came, was warm and without ceremony. This is an evenings-only room in Gràcia devoted to the cloudy end of winemaking: unfiltered, low-intervention, poured generously. If that dialect is already yours, you will settle in fast. I enjoyed my night without being moved by it; circle the list twice and you have seen most of it, and a few bottles taste like promises rather than finished thoughts. Still, there is charm in a place so certain of its own palate, and a lively pét-nat here does everything asked of it. Closed Sunday and Monday, so aim for later in the week. I'll pass that way again when thirst and the neighbourhood coincide.

Order this: A chilled pét-nat to start; it's where this list is happiest.

My companion speaks fluent natural wine; I remain a cautious student of it. From the counter she read the shelf like a menu, all cloudy bottles and low intervention, and the pours came generous while we argued amiably about filtration. The welcome is real. For my palate the range feels slimmer than I would wish, the edges not yet worn smooth. Once a year, when I am feeling adventurous, will do.

Confession: cloudy wine still makes me wary, even after years of pouring it for friends who swear by nothing else. The glass that tested me here arrived too cold, tight as a fist, and only relaxed once my hand had warmed it into something genuinely alive. Much like the bar itself: promising, a little unfinished. The shelf runs narrow unless you already speak the dialect. Gràcia holds warmer rooms; I'll drift back some evening next year, curious rather than devoted.
